01What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website can store on your device. This policy also covers browser local storage and session storage. It applies to the MoonFruit website; each app has its own policy in the legal directory.
02Strictly necessary
The Site stores one item in your browser's local storage: your cookie choice, saved as moonfruit-cookie-choice. It lets us respect your choice without asking again on every page, and it is kept for 12 months. Nothing else is stored on your device unless you accept analytics.
03Optional analytics
If you accept, the Site uses Google Analytics to count visits and show us which pages people read, which devices and browsers they use, roughly where they are (country or city level) and how they found the Site. We use this to improve the Site. Google Analytics only loads after you accept. If you decline, nothing from Google Analytics runs and no analytics cookies are set.
Cookies set when you accept:
- _ga recognises a returning browser so visits can be counted. It expires after 2 years.
- _ga_6GYYSY12YG keeps track of your current visit. It expires after 2 years.
We have turned off Google's advertising features in our tag (Google signals and ad personalisation), and the Site sets no advertising cookies. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months.
04Third-party content
Scripts and images are served from this Site. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which does not set cookies for this purpose but does receive your IP address. If you accept analytics, your browser also connects to Google to run Google Analytics, and Google may process that data outside the UK or EEA. The Site does not load advertising or social embeds.
External links to products, the App Store, social profiles and guides open other services. Their own cookie and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
05Your choices
You can change your mind at any time. Declining or withdrawing consent switches Google Analytics off and deletes its cookies from this Site. We ask again after 12 months.
You can also use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The Site works fully without analytics.
06Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the Site's use of cookies or similar technologies changes. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision.
